Welcoming Refugees: What is Fair Housing and Why it Matters

Attendees will gain an understanding of fair housing rights based on protected classes under law, including current trends in housing discrimination. Attendees will also learn more about the broad implications of housing discrimination with an emphasis on common barriers for vulnerable populations. The session will include resources for advocates to assist in pursuing equal housing opportunities and how to find local fair housing agencies.
