Welcoming Afghans: October Program Update
CWS has been welcoming Afghan refugees and Special Immigrant Visa holders since 2009 and will continue to welcome Afghan allies and friends across the United States throughout the coming months. Join this webinar to hear an update to the Afghan Placement and Assistance Program, since launching in September, and how CWS is currently involved in supporting Afghan evacuees. Attendees will also hear from former Afghan SIVs as they share reflections on how communities can welcome arriving Afghans with respect to dignity and culture.
