Centering Black Migrant and Refugee Voices
Please join us to engage in discussion about the current challenges facing Black migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in the United States, in detention, and south of the U.S.- Mexico Border. The session will highlight the work of black leaders on immigration and refugee issues. We will shed light on how historical discrimination continues to be a reality for Black migrants and refugees and how we can confront these racial injustices through advocacy, service provision and public narrative change work. Panelists will highlight the important work of Black asylum seekers, refugees and case workers.
Hosted on 12/13/21 by CWS Advocacy and Friends.
