Travel Loan Department
When refugees are admitted to the United States for resettlement, their travel is arranged under a loan program by the International Organization for Migration. Refugees sign a promissory note stating that they will repay the interest-free loans to cover travel costs over a pre-determined period.
As part of a structural change within the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), the management of loan accounts has transitioned from CWS directly to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the organization that originally provided the travel loan.
As of May 1, 2026, your account is officially managed by IOM.
All your account details, including your payment history, have been securely transferred to IOM. Please use the information below for all payments and inquiries starting May 1, 2026.
