US Offices Serving New Arrivals

Our U.S. Programs Network

Founded in 1946, CWS continues to assist refugees and immigrants throughout the United States. CWS directly administers nine local offices welcoming refugees through the U.S. refugee resettlement program and 11 offices serving unaccompanied minor children with home study and post release services.  CWS also contracts with an additional 23 local affiliate organizations. The U.S. Programs Network welcomes newly arrived refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants, providing them with critical support including housing, employment and legal services to set them on a path toward fully integrating and thriving in their new communties.

Supporting the nationwide operation is the CWS Programs headquarters team in New York City, the Elkhart Indiana Service Center, and the Government Relations Office in Washington, D.C.
